The Suit

Our same great Comfort Coat with added protection for your pup. Designed to shield pups from some of the worst cases of grass, pollen and other allergies, our Full Cover Bodysuit  is made with MICROBlok Technology performance material by Sportek International, Inc. The anti-allergenic, fungicidal and bactericidal properties prevent the multiplication of dust mites and the suit is ideal for pups who suffer from mild to severe allergy symptoms, have wounds that are slow to heal (due to licking, scratching, etc.), and much more. The full coverage zipper along the stomach of the suit provides more protection from snowballs adhering to your pup’s fur, shields sensitive skin from harmful UV rays and keeps fur clean on hikes, walks, etc.

Our non-travel zipper keeps the suit in place even on the most active pups. The suit will need to be left unzipped based on your pup’s anatomy so they can go to the bathroom at their convenience.

Made in the US with pawsitive vibes.

Our Full Cover Bodysuit is perfect for:

  • Allergy prevention & relief
  • UV protection (rated UPF 50+ & blocks out 98% of harmful UV rays)
  • Anxiety relief
  • Preventing the multiplication of dust mites
  • Healing after surgery (prevent irritation to stitches, wounds & medicated areas)
  • Hot spot prevention
  • Injury, rash & surgical site protection
  • Tick, burr & sticker prevention
  • Mud & debris protection
  • Shedding control
  • Snow protection
  • Coat damage prevention

The Size

To ensure your pup gets the right size the first time, there are a few measurements we’ll need:

Top Line – starts between your pup’s shoulder blades and ends at the base of their tail

Girth – the deepest part around your pup’s chest just behind their front legs

Weight – how much your pup weighs

Sometimes, pups can fit into two sizes based on their measurements. Contact us via live chat or give us a call and we’ll help you figure out the best size recommendation!

I haven’t actually used this product yet, but I’m so impressed by the customer service that I can’t wait to for the new jacket to arrive! All of my questions have been answered in a timely manner, and when the jacket arrived and did not fit properly, they agreed to do a full refund and send me the correct size when it comes back in stock! They are super generous and knowledgeable, and it shows that they are passionate about the product and our pups! Keep up the good work! ????

The only suit you will ever need for your fur baby

    Maria Lourenco

K9top coat bodysuit is the only suit you will ever need for your pup.
Don’t spend your money on trying different jackets/suits because this is the real deal.
This suit will avoid the snow ball build up and uncomfortable mats. Our doddle would have to thaw out for an hour after being out in the snow, but after we got him his K9 topcoat suit it’s been a game changer. No more uncomfortable snow stuck to his fur. The coat take literally 20 seconds to put on.
So glad I found this company.
Not only is the product great, the customer service is amazing and they stand by their product.

So when you take your dog out you cannot zipper it? Then what good is it outside?

    Amazing Product and Service!!

Our one year old Cavapoo had major knee surgery recently and is not allowed to run, jump or slide on wood floors for 6+ weeks. Initially the suit was fabulous for keeping her away from her incision (it is totally healed with no issues) but what I underestimated was the suit’s calming effects. She has been happy to lay low and heal. When you see the photos you will see how comfy she’s been!

Her vet, orthopedist and PT doctor have all taken photos and noted the brand, one swearing it must be a custom. Our vet doesn’t generally recommend them as the legs typically aren’t long enough. These are long and easy to cut to size. They were impressed and are going to recommend the suit to others.

Mille has worn her suit for 3 weeks in a row and it is still in great shape. It is great because she can go to the bathroom in it with no issues. The staff were super helpful figuring out which size and type to get. She was in between sizes so we got two and took photos and texted them and they helped select which one was best and I returned the second one. It is nice to see people who are passionate about what they do!

I have been recommending the suit to everyone I can. It really has been better than anticipated and I had pretty high expectations! If you haven’t seen it I recommend the article in Whole Dog Journal about recovery suits. This one is specifically featured and is what led me to K9 Topcoat.

    Highly, highly recommend!

    Super for Surgical Recovery!

    Lisa Brown

Our ER hospital veterinarian recommended this product and we are so pleased. Cora had a large wound on her flank that required a complex surgical repair. Once the drain was removed (yes, it was a big wound!) I dressed her in this cute suit daily and she could have some much needed cone-free time. She could also lie outdoors in the grass (or dirt) and I didn’t worry as her stitches were completely covered. This is definitely a well made, high quality outfit. Going to the bathroom was not a problem (no need to unzip or take off) and the material didn’t even smell when I neglected to wash it for days. Customer service was also superb. My phone call was returned promptly and June was very helpful with all of my questions. Cora is a 60 pound golden doodle and the size 8 fit her perfectly. She will likely wear this again in the snow (she picks up little snowballs in her curly fur) and when we go camping/hiking to prevent burrs in her coat. Worth the price!

    Customer Service / Quality

First.. the customer service is OUTSTANDING. I emailed their generic customer service email thinking I would not hear back and I heard back almost immediately. I spoke with Bella and June for almost 2 weeks until we finally got the right fit for my pup, they mailed it with a hand written note and the quality is amazing. My dog, Finnegan has major allergy issues and was breaking out with bumps this summer and since he started wearing the suit they are completely gone. This is a life-saving product for dogs that struggle with allergies and I am so happy to have found them. Thank you again to Bella and June for working with me and my situation, I truly appreciate you and the product.

I’m a commercial dog walker in Toronto. I take dogs hiking, off-leash, on trails throughout Toronto’s extensive park system. One of my sweet clients, a mini Golden Doodle, loves nothing more than rolling in any raccoon or fox feces she can find. And, by g*d, she finds it everywhere. After three years of 30-minute clean up at LEAST 2-3 times/week, I found the Full-Coverage Lycra Bodysuit. I cannot begin to describe the time and effort this wonderful creation has saved me. Today, which was not a-typical, would have ben a full-blown disaster had *my* pup not been swearing the suit. She still managed (of course) to get a little on her tail, but compared to what could have been?? I am now planning on (slowly) acquiring a Full-Coverage Lycra Bodysuit for each of my Doodle clients. (Okay, I have six; what can I say?)

I’m now imagining a fall without burrs, a winter without snowballs (if you know, you KNOW), and as spring and summer of MUDLESS dogs. The coat goes on like a dream, and, of course doesn’t impede the dog’s ability to perspire, (paws and tongue only), so is a year-round win. Also, I had a couple of questions regarding fit, because my client was a little offside the sizing chart recommendations. Customer Service was FANTASTIC; fast responses, personal touches, lovely people.

This is already way too long, but there’s one more thing that bears mentioning. Because of the frequency with which this pup *rolls*, the suit has already been through 5…7 ?? washes (it just arrived last week). Looks brand new.

If you’re on the fence over the expense, (I also side-gig as a poet), just do it (2nd side-gig as an infringer of copyrights), I genuinely haven’t been this giddy over a new (to me) product, since central air-conditioning was invented. Not even kidding. So, if I’m old enough to remember that, I must know my stuff. Sun/burrs/mud/poo/leaves/snowballs/allergies? Problem. Solved.

Last thing, and SO BRILLIANT. The legs are sewn so that they can be cut to any length with basic scissors and nothings runs; i.e. fabric or seam stitching.

Apologies for the graphic photo, which I hope K9 will feel free to delete if it’s too much, but honestly, with this pup’s reactivity, this would easily have been a 20-30 minute clean-up had she not been wearing her suit of armour (as it is now fondly known).

    So helpful for post-surgery!

    Kel Perlick (verified owner)

My dog had a large incision from a tumor removal surgery and our vet recommended this product. The full-coverage body suit really made life easier for us both! No cone was needed! He couldn’t mess with his wound dressings or stitches at all! The compression of the suit was perfect! My dog is a 70lb Pitt x Boxer mix with a barrel chest and smaller waist. I got him a size 7 in the Full Coverage zip-up style. It had a little room, but it really worked great (just remember to unzip when it’s time to go potty!) Thank you K9 Topcoat!

    Just what we needed!!

    Kim (verified owner)

We bought the full body suit to protect our sweet Larry Lovebug from further UV damage, subsequent to his diagnosis of dermal hemangiosarcoma, a potentially aggressive cancer caused by sun exposure. He LOVES wearing it and it’s easy to put on and take off. He also loves to sunbathe and we feel much more relaxed about letting him do that with the suit on. It’s also perfect for covering surgical sites while healing, so much better than the cone of shame! We had no idea UV suits existed for dogs until our vet recommended it and we are so grateful for k9 topcoat!!

    Awesome product, amazing services

I just recently order the full body suit for my 1 year old Kiwi. After seeing someone else posted their dood’s in the Lycra suit in our dood’s group, I thought it is a genius idea. Kiwi has double coat, super thick fur, so once she is soaked in water, there is no way I could dry her without a high speed dryer. With the intention of taking her to the beach for the first time, I placed an order online for a lycra suit. An hour after I placed the order and after continue reading reviews, I thought, well maybe the full body suit would work better. I gave K9 a call and left the voicemail. The owner called me back shortly after and happily helped me exchange for the full body suit. She was so helpful explaining the sizing (Kiwi was bordering between a 3 and 5) and patiently listening to me ramping about what I want to do with the suit. AMAZING customer service, right there.
Overall, the suit works perfect, just the way I wanted it. Kiwi played in the water for a while, we took off the suit, and she was just damped with no sand on her, except her paws. It was life changing, as it saved us hours from cleaning, wiping and vacuuming the car. On top of that, she was pretty much dried by the time we got home.

A GREAT addition to the product line!!

    Tracy Ogden

This is perfect for our allergy girl. The full zipper also resolves any issues of wriggling out of the back legs like she was able to do.
I received this today and took her out for a walk and she was able to pee with no issues. Males would need a little unzip/rezip on walks, but am loving the fit of this new suit and the cool color is great for summer!
