Our Original Sports Vest was first introduced in 2003. It is made of a highly durable, breathable, stretchable and water resistant material that is tough enough to protect your dog from the harshest conditions. Unlike most vests on the market, our Sports Vest covers the entire chest and rib cage as well as the upper front legs and underarms. There is Cordura along the chest and abdomen to provide added protection. We’ve also expanded the sizes we offer to fit a wider range of breeds, weights and body styles. Our Blaze Orange Sports Vests are expected to begin restocking in mid-late June. Because of the high demand for the comfort and protection our Sports Vests provide, we’ve started manufacturing our 2022 vests using material we already had. This is the exact same material that our Original Sports Vests were made of, except the color is a bright Royal Blue (see color swatch in product photos) with black Cordura along the chest and belly. These are available in limited quantities.
Sizing
To ensure your dog gets the right size the first time, here’s what you’ll need:
Girth Measurement – measure all the way around the deepest part of your dog’s chest (see diagram below). Then go to our sizing guide to determine the correct size.

- In order to provide the best fit possible, two new sizes have been added to our line of Sports Vests. The addition has altered our sizing guidelines. Dogs may not wear the same size of vest as they did in previous years. Be sure to see the updated sizing guide for new measurement ranges and appropriate sizing.
